The chestnut honey, a plant widely distributed in the entire Veneto Region, is one of the main regional single-flower production.

Colour: Amber more or less dark with reddish/greenish tones in liquid honey. Brown if crystallized.

Bouquet: Very intense, floral balsamic characteristic.

Taste:Strong, Lingering, a little bit tannic, bitter aftertaste.

Recommended combination: This is a particular honey, suitable for flavouring or aromatizing, or better yet, spread on the bread, with butter. To try with ricotta and aged cheese liked Parmesan cheese.
